Rumination Disorder

Rumination Disorder is characterized by the repeated regurgitation of food after eating which may occur immediately afterwards or sometime later and is typically involuntary (unlike Bulimia). Regurgitated food is re-swallowed, re-chewed, or spit out. Medical conditions must be ruled out in order to diagnose rumination disorder.
