Tracey Small, MFT

Intern

Tracey is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern. She has a bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University and is in the final phase of completing the COAMFTE accredited master’s degree program in marriage and family therapy from Northcentral University. Tracey has 14 years case management experience working with adults and their families who have struggled with substance abuse and mental health disorders such as bipolar, depression, and anxiety. She works to assist clients in making positive changes in their lives, making better choices, and developing new coping skills. Her approach to therapy is to join with clients where they are, provide a safe place for them to work through their challenges, and to explore ways they may experience life in a happier more meaningful way. Developing positive communication skills and working toward strengthening relationships is a primary focus.
