Chara Whiting, LMFT-Associate
Chara has done research on long-term marriage, families, father involvement, and the power of resilience. She has worked with individuals, couples and families from all walks of life in three different states for the last five years. She enjoys helping clients understand how the family system can maintain dysfunction as well as contribute to healthy growth and change by looking at family roles, communication, and how we attach to each other.
Master’s Degree: Marriage and Family Therapy, Purdue University
Bachelor’s Degree: Psychology, Brigham Young University

Chara has been trained in EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as well as many systems theories. She is currently working with both the Sugar Land and Woodlands Centers for Couples and Families.
