Marissa Osborn, LMSW

Marissa graduated with a Master in Social Work from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Art in Communications from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Marissa's strengths based perspective is rooted in her belief individuals have the ability to change, but many have not learned the necessary skills to help guide them in their healing journey. Marissa believes creating safe spaces for clients to be vulnerable is a key aspect in the therapeutic process. Marissa is passionate about working with diverse populations including individuals that have experienced trauma during their lifetime. Marissa utilizes evidence based modalities such as EMDR, TF-CBT, ACT, and DBT to address issues regarding abuse, substance use, personality disorders and PTSD. Her approach focuses on how an individual's environment impacts all facets of their life and identifying the root causes for engaging in harmful behaviors. Marissa has been living and raising her daughters in Rexburg since 2016. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and exploring her creativity in her spare time.
