Michael Olson, PhD – DCO

Dr. Olson received his master’s degree from Brigham Young University and his PhD from Kansas State University in marriage and family therapy. He completed a postdoctoral clinical and research fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Behavioral Medicine. Mike has worked as a member of the Behavioral Medicine/School of Medicine faculty and served as director of Behavioral Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch, University of Nebraska Medical Center, and St. Mary’s Hospital/University of Colorado School of Medicine. Since 2001 he has worked in training programs focused on integrated care and has authored many articles, book chapters, and presented nationally and internationally on this topic. He is an AAMFT clinical member and approved supervisor, working closely with allied health professionals and clinical trainees for nearly two decades. He is married to his wife Camille and has five children.
