About Kristie
I have an interest in counseling clients of all ages and backgrounds who are struggling with life difficulties. I provide counseling to clients of all ages, ethnicities, and socio-economic status; struggling with life difficulties. I have been married for 18 years and have two children. My goal is to help individuals see themselves accurately and integrate every part of their experience into a life that is whole and full.
I have worked as a professional counselor since 2004 in a variety of settings, including: a juvenile justice center, centers that serve children and families, non-profit work, and a university counseling center. My experience includes crisis intervention, treating neuro-developmental conditions like ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, mood disorders, suicidal ideation, non-suicidal self-injurious behavior, trauma reactions, and gender and sexual identity.
Education
Master of Arts from a CACREP accredited counseling psychology program at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, in Belton, Texas (2004).
