Danielle Peterson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, focuses on her client’s strengths and uses them to guide the client toward sustainable changes. Danielle works to further the client’s understanding of their emotions and mind-body connectedness to help the client gain insight that may be preventing them from reaching their goals to better mental health.

Danielle’s growing knowledge of eating disorders, through being a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist candidate, and her compassion towards those struggling with body image and consuming food make her a great addition to a client’s team on their road to recovery.

Danielle uses a variety of tools including dialectical behavioral therapy, intuitive eating training, self-compassion therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family-based therapy, and communication coaching in order to best fit her client’s needs. She prides herself on specializing in eating disorders first but is also well versed in helping clients overcome anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, and struggles pertaining to personality disorders. Danielle highly values open communication and works hard to be able to fit her client’s needs.
