Danielle Peterson, Clinical Intern
Danielle Peterson is a Clinical Intern. She is currently obtaining a Master's degree in Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University which is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Danielle has experience in working with people struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, and survivors of trauma. Danielle uses an eclectic approach to therapy with focuses on client-centered therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, somatic therapy, and utilizes a strengths-based perspective. Danielle focuses on the strengths of clients and what they can bring to a therapeutic relationship as an agent for change. She believes that all clients have to potential to reach the goals that they have set for themselves. Danielle’s main objective is to create a calm and safe environment to help individuals feel heard and can express themselves without the fear of judgment or shame.
