Christopher Bezzant, LPC
Doctoral Candidate
Chris has worked with adolescents in residential treatment who have developmental disorders, such as: Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), eating disorders, and other behavioral or conduct issues. He has also provided individual, family, and group therapy services. After pursuing a Doctoral degree in 2014, Chris worked in community mental health settings helping a variety of clients with a broad array of mental health concerns.
Over the last 4-5 years, Chris has been focused on integrated medical and mental health care services and behavioral medicine. Chris’s current focus in treatment includes a combination of traditional counseling services and behavioral health interventions.
Chris is happily married with children and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Experiences with different cultures has helped Chris to gain a greater awareness of his own culture and values. He has instilled in himself the importance of approaching others with humility and a multicultural orientation.
